Year stone 75

Like my month end post, I have been having a regular yearly post, that is a birthday post, 7 March.

In 75 I was 25, now in 25 I am 75., touching the year stone 75. Looking back, it has taken only 75 seconds to cover these long years. The message is now I am in a position with a long past and a short future. Instead of a happy birthday wish, I would like a good wish for a healthy short future. Thank you.

Just before starting to write this post, I went travelling down the memory lane, as far as I could. Tried to recall the events, with sceneries going blurred what came up into prominence is people, their faces, love and support.

My parents, sister, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, spouse, children, in-laws, friends, colleagues ( for me anybody who worked with me irrespective of their positions were colleagues) and bosses, am I missing out any relationship, never allowed me to be down in life. I am grateful to them, my only regret is I am not sure how good I have been to them.

 

Life is a journey, you meet people, few travel a distance with you, others a few more and then some new ones join you, few stays till the end of their journey or yours which ever happens early.

 No relationship is permanent, either their role is over in my story or mine in theirs.

Everybody comes into each other’s life for a reason. One ends, another begins.

 All good people.

In my case, I am in touch with hardly 2 or 3 from my school days, thanks to the social media, I have been able to get connected with my college mates, after around 40 years, a huge gap between leaving college (bachelor days) and retirement (grandfather age), went our way and made  stories. Every individual is a story. That was fun.

A life span progressing from snail mail to instant mails, convergence of scattered souls, information at  finger tips, fortunate to be living in an extraordinary era.
