What Why and Wow

Hello there, here I am with my end of the month post. Last month, when I was wondering what to write, I could cook up something titled ” write baby write”. Some of them got inspired and wanted to know what to write, how to write, when to write and why should I.

Well nothing happens if you do not, please do not feel guilty. You can find out what happens when you write. It need not be in English, it can be in any language. An answer I gave some one, reply to the following questions :
Why did you do what you did ?
How did it make you feel at the end of it ?

You can write it in your phone, notes, WhatsApp, or myfile or anywhere.
Now you will have to find an excuse, if it is not “I will not do it, leave me alone”

Monthly Summary

Let me give you a monthly summary of some of the things I did, why did I do and what did I feel.

Ghost who walks

Most of us, during our working days, become members of èmployees pf, pension scheme or some old age protective blah blah. The amount may not be much to talk about, however nobody will let go because you never know.

Every year you need to go to the bank and show them you are still breathing, for the issuance of live certificate (not dead certificate, opposite of death certificate).

Ever year I encounter someone new in the officer’s position. This time I go to the desk,, smiles cheerfully and almost shout “Madam, I am alive”, I need a certificate.” Frankly speaking, I feel a bit annoyed with the system. Though she laughed, puzzled, as if seeing a ghost ” So.. what am I supposed to do”. ” You have to issue me a certificate”, I said, ” It’s for the pension”.

She gets up and goes to a cabin, I am sure she has not dealt with a ghost before, comes back with an assistant, ” you came for a life certificate, please give me your account number, adhaar card”. Here they are and later, press your finger here for adhhar verification and look into this camera, give me the OTP number (I think with all these information any body can clean up my account), let’s give the benefit of the doubt to the employee and finally she said it’s fine , your certificate is in your phone.Thank you.

Wow, I felt like distributing sweets, walked out of the hospital , recovering from near death, discharged.
There you have the answers to the questions, what did I do, why did I do and how did I feel after that.

A good comeback

A sad news I had was about the nasty car accident of my friend and class mate, Dr Biren Jena and his wife Kalyani, in the US, suffered multiple injuries. The good news is both of them are recovering well from a hopeless situation, it’s a great journey back. Best wishes , Jena, to all of you, our prayers.

84th birthday

I made a quick trip to Kochi. There was a celebration of 84th birthday of cousin brother -in- law ( cousin sister’s husband), Mr. KrishnanKutty Menon. It was a wonderful occasion, his popularity got displayed by the presence of relatives and friends from near and far and all the talks around him about him.

You can choose friends, not relatives, You have no choice, they just happen. I have heard people complaining, you can cut off friends, a relative remains a relative never mnd whether you like them or not.

For me, my relatives are the best thing in my life. I love them, all.

On such occasion,  you get to meet all, at least most of them and keep up the relationship. Another wow moment.

Aye Auto

I generally take an Auto rickshaw for local travels. What’s the big deal, you may ask, cheap bugga, saving money…

I hear people complaining about them and I cannot recall any upsetting moment in 1000 or more travels. I love their expertise, specially in Bangalore traffic. It’s fascinating, the way they find an inch and take a yard. Those hairline gaps between disaster and safety is literally breath taking. Earlier never mind what I went through, these days I am as confident as they are, I don’t mind a failure here or there. Every successful trip gives me a WOW moment, after all the wow moments during the journey. I happily end up paying  more than their expectation for the final WOW.
